Tasting : Beautiful golden color with luminous reflections, complex and elegant nose, it opens with notes of white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach), white flowers and honey. Barrel aging brings a subtle vanilla touch and aromas of toasted hazelnut. The palate is full and generous, with a beautiful silky texture. The attack is marked by aromas of ripe fruits and a hint of citrus.
Food and wine pairing : Steamed cod, beurre blanc sauce and citrus zest – Creamy risotto with shrimp and saffron – Fresh or lightly aged goat cheeses (picodon, crottin de Chavignol) – Orange blossom soufflé.
