Nestled between Sarrians and Vacqueyras, Château des Roques spans 38 hectares of vineyards on a stony garrigue plateau.
Blessed with abundant sunshine and refreshed by the Mistral wind, this quintessential Provençal terroir

Wines of character, shaped by the terroir

 RED VACQUEYRAS – Elegance and Intensity 

Hand-harvested and aged for 18 months in demi-muids (600L French oak barrels), this wine showcases the richness of the southern Rhône’s grape varieties. Silky in texture, with refined tannins, it unfolds aromas of red and black fruits, violet, peppery spices, and wild garrigue.

Our Vacqueyras red wine pairs wonderfully with grilled, roasted, or sauced red meats, flavorful game, and mature cheeses.
It also pairs well with a chocolate dessert for a delicious finishing touch.

  • Cuvée « À l’Ombre du Château »

    A traditional Vacqueyras, blending 70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, and 10% Cinsault. Generous, aromatic, and convivial: the purest expression of the terroir.
    Recommended by La Tour d’Argent and the Senate Restaurant.

  • Cuvée  « Vertige des Gouttes« 

    From vines over 60 years old, this blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre offers remarkable depth and complexity.

    An intense, distinguished Vacqueyras—crafted for fine dining and destined to age gracefully.

WHITE VACQUEYRAS – Freshness & Refinement

Crafted in equal parts from Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Viognier, this wine embodies the elegance of a great southern Rhône white.
Its expressive bouquet opens with aromas of peach, mango, apricot, and delicate white flowers, lifted by a subtle touch of minerality. 
On the palate, the freshness continues with refined notes of pear and citrus, striking a perfect balance between roundness and liveliness.
Versatile and refined, this Vacqueyras white shines both as an aperitif and at the table. 
It pairs beautifully with grilled or cooked fish, white meats, creamy risottos, or a selection of goat cheeses.

  • Cuvée « Face aux Dentelles »

    A traditional expression of the appellation, this cuvée reveals the harmony and generosity of a fine Rhône white. 

    Lively notes of yellow fruits mingle with a delicious roundness, offering balance, aromatic finesse, and a truly convivial character.

  • Cuvée « Sous la Restanque »

    A rare micro-cuvée of only 800 bottles, crafted from the same blend but aged for 12 months in barrels. 

    This élevage brings depth and complexity, enhancing the natural freshness with subtle nuances of vanilla, honey, and white flowers. 

    The palate is silky and elegant, with citrus highlights that prolong the finish and underline the refinement of this exceptional wine.

A Place, a vision

Located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, a stone’s throw from Mont Ventoux, Château des Roques carefully cultivates the authenticity of an exceptional terroir, enriched by history, driven by innovation, and driven by a family passion.

Our approach: between respect for nature and oenological requirements

Since 2021, our estate has proudly held the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification, a recognition of our commitment to sustainable and environmentally respectful viticulture.
We favor methods that preserve the natural balance between soil and vine: mechanical cultivation between rows with interceps, pruning adapted to each grape variety (gobelet or cordon de Royat), and treatments compliant with organic farming standards.
 

Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, ensuring the rigorous selection of only the finest clusters. We also practice green harvesting, deliberately reducing the number of berries to produce wine of greater concentration, rich in both aromas and sugars, while maintaining the natural balance of the vine.

Our vineyard is home to a beautiful diversity of grape varieties: Grenache Noir and Blanc, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Roussanne, and Viognier. Each is vinified with precision, using carefully selected yeasts to guarantee a stable and expressive fermentation.

Our red wines mature in concrete vats, allowing for gentle, natural micro-oxygenation. The whites ferment in stainless steel, preserving freshness and finesse. Depending on the desired style, aging then continues either in stainless steel vats, to maintain the purest fruit expression, or in 600-liter demi-muids, which impart subtle oak notes and remarkable complexity on the palate.
